Commission of Infrastructure & Mapping

The Commission of Infrastructure & Land Mapping holds exclusive executive responsibility and custody over all official state maps, boundary coordinate models, Geographic Information System (GIS) layers, and spatial datasets belonging to the State of Danubia. Operating under the direct mandate of the appointed Commissioner, the department enforces strict global cartographic standards to ensure absolute mathematical accuracy and universal GPS compatibility. The Commission is charged with the strategic implementation of pre-touchdown land-use zoning, physical border marker protocols, the protection of digital infrastructure clusters, and continuous global monitoring to protect the geodetic integrity of Danubia from bad-faith external distortion.

Cartographic Custody & Standards

The Commission maintains exclusive custody over all official state boundary coordinate models and spatial datasets. To ensure universal integration with global satellite arrays, all assets are strictly plotted utilising the metric system and the World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS 84) datum.

The Master Cadastre

This department establishes and maintains a centralised digital Master Cadastre as the state’s single source of truth for territorial plotting. Every identified parcel, plot, or sub-sector within our boundaries is permanently catalogued with a unique, sequential Land Identification Number (LIN).

Pre-Touchdown Zoning

Before executing physical field operations, the Commission compiles geographic surveys and issues official Zoning Decrees. Land is methodically divided into Administrative Zones for state offices, Civil Settlement Zones for verified citizens, and Environmental Protection Zones to preserve local ecology.

Boundary Deployment & Hardware

Any real-world border stones, flags, or markers deployed by the state must be technically vetted by the Commissioner. Markers must display official emblems, the site’s unique LIN, and a tamper-evident cryptographic QR code linking directly back to our public legal directory.

Infrastructure & Geodetic Defense

The Commission secures all primary domain registries, database servers, and hosting nodes as critical state infrastructure. Additionally, the department actively monitors open-source platforms and global registries to issue technical corrections against hostile mapping claims.
